About Gallantree Compliance · Brisbane, Queensland
Compliance software, built by the team that has to use it.
We're Gallantree — an Australian Financial Services Licensee. We needed a modern, AFSL-first compliance platform. Nothing in the market did the job. So we built one. Now we're opening it up for every Australian licensee that's tired of running compliance from a spreadsheet.
Why we built this
The Australian compliance toolkit was overdue.
Australia's 5,500-plus AFS licensees are served by a handful of incumbents priced for institutions, generic GRC suites bolted onto Australian categories, or compliance consultants billing by the hour. The middle is missing: a transparent, modern, self-serve platform that actually understands AFSL, APRA, and AML/CTF obligations the way Australian compliance officers think about them.
We built Gallantree Compliance because we needed it for our own AFS Licence. Every obligation, recurrence rule, evidence requirement, and committee report was designed against a real licensee's real workload — ours.
AFSL-native, not retrofitted
The obligation taxonomy was written by people who lodge breach reports, not translated from a US enterprise risk product.
Technology as the moat
Proprietary platform built in-house — not a Notion template behind a sales call. AI coaches and audit-grade evidence are first-class, not add-ons.
Audit-ready by default
Every action, attestation, and evidence file is immutably logged. A compliance committee pack is one button, not a week of admin.
We use it ourselves
Gallantree runs its own AFSL compliance function on this platform. If it doesn't work for us, we don't ship it to anyone else.
“We wanted a compliance platform built like a piece of institutional infrastructure — rated, transparent, AFSL-first. Nothing on the market did all three. So we built one, and we're running our own AFSL on it every day.”
Our Story
From spreadsheet pain to compliance infrastructure.
Phase 1 · 2024
The gap
Surveyed every AFSL compliance product on the market. Found pricing hidden behind sales calls, generic GRC tools dressed up for Australia, and dated UX. Nothing was purpose-built for AFSL and credit licensees at a transparent, self-serve price point.
Phase 2 · 2025
Built for ourselves
Built the platform in-house against our own obligations. Started with the AFSL Calendar — the wedge that addresses the most acute pain — then layered Training, Risk, and Policy modules as our own compliance program scaled.
Phase 3 · 2026
Opened to other licensees
Productised the platform, added multi-tenant isolation and the AFSL Starter Pack, and partnered with CNM Legal on independent obligation review. Commercial launch with transparent pricing and a 14-day trial of the full Standard tier.
Phase 4 · 2027 onwards
The roadmap
Expand into adjacent regulated industries (Australian credit licensees, professional services), deepen the AI coach experience, and add SCORM-compatible training ingest, SAML, and public REST APIs.
At Gallantree, we're building Australia's structured credit infrastructure — and that means running a compliance function that operates at institutional standards. We needed software that matched the rigour we apply to credit. Compliance officers across Australia deserve the same tools we built for ourselves.
